Merry Christmas- I always like new book and audible reccomendations. I am beginning to enjoy dead week as well. I never thought about it before but now since flying is oit of the question during Christmas I enjoy staying put and resting.
I lot of my students enjoy kpop, but to be honest it's something I know very little about kpop or kdrama. That track you mentioned sounds fascinating and the Disturbed track is really emo. Always on the outlook for new music to listen to. Thanks!
Wow!! Quite a newsletter chock full of wonderful things to read, learn about, and listen too. Your newsletter are always a delight. Yes, I like this week when things calm down a bit and one can "breathe" at least for a day or two. Some thoughts are far as your other writings about being a "stranger" in Italy. I have learned to embrace that you are different. Say "Yes, I am from Australia. Isn't that exciting?" You are unique in all the world and that is a good thing. It is good that we are not all "milk toast". How boring would that be? You do not have to "fit in". All you have to do is "BE YOU". What a wonderful relief that is!
Happy you are enjoying the newsletter. I'm kind of scratching my head about what to write next. I still feel like I'm on holidays. But I'm back at work tomorrow. Hope you had a good break.

Merry Christmas to you too. Hope you enjoyed a week of doing very little. I'm back at work tomorrow, going to miss the rest.
I did it was wonderful to sleep and relax
I have to confess: I really like the kdramas! I found this song which is currently a favourite: we could still be happy by Rachel Yamagata

The other discovery is - sounds of silence but by Disturbed.
