Hello friend,
I hope this year you’ve been able to read along on this newletter and understood a little about my life in Sicily. Eventhough this past week it’s gotten somewhat touristy with lists and suggestions galore.
Since I keep getting questions about what to see and do in Italy and Sicily I thought I’d post them here, for anyone to read and save for future reference. These kind of travel advice articles, really are evergreen advice that can be kept and used for planning future travel, without any problems.
While in the new year I want to get back to my own personal travel writing style, talking about everyday life in Sicily and sharing literally whatever is on my mind, after all this newsletter is called ‘A load off my mind.’
If you have enjoyed my travel tip posts feel free to send me your questions. Just email me at rochelledb@substack.com
After all I do always encourage all of my friends, family, acquaintences or generally anyone I meet to travel to Italy and explore the beautiful island of Sicily. I am a little dull in the way I’m always talking about the place. And I’ve never heard of anyone being disappointed.
After all I am a travel writer with a passion for all things Italian. For the past ten years, I have been documenting my adventures and experiences on my blog, sharing insider tips and hidden gems in Sicily.

About me
My name is Rochelle Del Borrello (@rochelledelborrello), and I'm a writer, ESL teacher and blogger based in Sicily, Italy. Over the past decade, I've been writing about Sicily online, as a travel writer and on my blog. I started 'A Load off my Mind' to share more of my writing, thoughts, and discoveries directly and regularly with you. My newsletter is a way of sharing what is happening in my creative life in Sicily—part slice of life, part travel memoir and all with my philosophical yet honest point of view.
