#68 An Italian coffee culture shock
Hello friend,
Just to let you know, I am planning to start making more posts for my paid subscribers, so now is probably the best time to update to a paid subscription so you don't miss out on my bonus posts during the week. You can also read my weekly excerpt of my Travel Memoir, Sicilian Descent, all about my experiences and family connections to Sicily. You get a new section every week.
Thanks for hanging around and putting up with the unpredictable trajectory that is 'A load off my mind.' It's been great to get so much off of my mind, share with you and connect. I can't wait to give you more things to enjoy.
Thanks to everyone who has subscribed, we are slowly growing every week. I started with a handful of people, and now there is quite a crowd. I'm starting to get a little bit of stage fright. Thanks for your support.
I publish a free newsletter here about whatever is on my mind. Those who are paid subscribers also get a serialised version of my memoir, Sicilian Descent, on the other side of the paywall. If you are interested, update your subscription.
I occasionally write about things I've stumbled upon, including random reading, viewing, listening and other fantastic discoveries.
Word-of-mouth is the number one way readers find me, and I appreciate any time you forward an issue to a friend or drop a link in your group chat. Please share the love by forwarding this to a friend or two. It's a big help.

Then, when you go back to your hometown, thinking you can settle back in comfortably, you realise how much you've forgotten.
