#155 Reviving old friendships

Hello friend,

I am probably the worst friend in the world. I never keep in touch, and I find it difficult to keep in contact from a distance. I hardly have a message or video call friend. Most of my mates are in Australia. Apart from my son, husband, and in-laws, I don’t have any friends here in Italy. I know it’s sad, isn’t it?

I’ve never found people here in Sicily with my same interests, never really bonded with someone over coffee or at a parent-teacher night, even though all the parents seem to have an equally tired and burnt-out look to them after dragging themselves around at such school events.
